Dear Budding Entrepreneur,

You feel it, don't you? The desire to run your own business. How it chafes to work for someone else. The desire to work for yourself is so strong that sometimes you've pursued opportunities that just weren't right for you.

I know that feeling. I've been there.

It was 2000 when I first started freelancing. I was working at a great company, but it just wasn't enough. I didn't feel fulfilled.

Then, early in 2001, the company went kaput! Another victim of the dot com crunch.

So there I was, with no job and an intense desire to never let other people's business affect my livelihood again.

I was so disgusted with the experience, I toyed with the idea of going in a completely new direction.

At that time, I had built a pretty good career on being a writer and editor in the health care industry. Now, I was seriously looking at launching a gift basket business. That led me to becoming a Mary Kay Consultant. After I tanked at that, I dabbled in insurance sales with Primerica.

The problem was, none of these businesses spoke to my core passions and strengths. And, for a small business to have longevity, the founder/owner has to be passionate about what the business does.

So, after three years of floundering around, I re-entered the workforce as a science writer. But, over the next several years, I worked on my dream on the side. I took classes. I bought e-books. I listened to audio tapes. And, after several years, I finally stumbled upon my calling.

It doesn't have to be that way for you!

I've developed Calling the Stork so that you don't have to take years to go from "What is my calling?" to "Here's what my business will look like."

You won't have to flounder about not knowing where to look.

You won't have to stumble upon your calling by chance -- which can be a hit or miss proposition.

I've put together a unique 12-week program that will move you from the "pre-conception" stage of the product/service life cycle -- the stage where you're now sure what your product, service or business is -- through "conception" -- that "aha!" moment when you know -- to "gestation & development" -- where you create your action plan and start developing your product and building your business.

I've also listened to what many beginners and newbies have been telling me and created a program that incorporates the best parts of group learning, home study and one-on-one coaching techniques.

Think of Calling the Stork as
Summer School for Budding Entrepreneurs!

Each four-week module will have its own target goals for participants to achieve:

  • Weeks 1-4: Step One -- Moving from "Pre-Conception" to "Conception"

A list of at least three core skills and passions

A list of one to three clearly defined niches that you can serve

A concept for your first product line

  • Weeks 5-8: Step Two -- Embracing "Conception"

A strong outline for what kind of products and services will comprise your first product line

A clear vision statement of what you want your business to look like when your first product line is fully developed and in place

A clear mission statement to guide you as you build your business

A one to two page Action Plan of the steps you need to take to realize your vision

  • Weeks 9-12: Step Three -- Moving from "Conception" Into "Gestation & Development"

A document clearly defining your product line

A one- to three-page business and marketing plan to build your business

A basic understanding of the techniques you'll need to master to make your vision reality

And, to help you celebrate all that you've accomplished in 12 weeks, there will be a special "graduation ceremony" held on the 13th week.

Imagine this ...

You could have your business
-- one that you love --
in place and ready for profit ...
all in time for the Fall!

What would you pay for an opportunity like that? $1,000? $2,000? $5,000?

If you knew that you would have a solid business plan in place, built around your core passions and strengths, what would you be willing to invest? Time? Money? Effort?

Well, you'll only need to invest three to five hours per week for three months. That's only 36 to 60 hours -- equal to a week to a week and a half of a normal full-time job -- spread out over the summer. Is that small amount of time worth it to achieve your dream of running your own business?

And the cost? It's not $5,000. It's not $2,000. It's not even $1,000. The cost for this life-changing program is only $885! And you don't have to pay for it all in one lump sum. There are three payment plans available.

Why did I call this program "Calling the Stork"?

There are a couple of reasons I called this program Calling the Stork.

For one, in some cultures it is the stork that brings us new babies. Your product or service, which you will build your business around, is, in many ways, your baby. This course will help you to "hurry the stork along" in bringing your baby to you.

For another, in other cultures, the stork is representative of creative energy, of creative inspiration. In the context of this program, when you "call the stork" you are getting in touch with your creative muse to help you create your product or service.

And lastly, it fits The Product Midwife's theme of using the birth cycle as a metaphor for the conception and development of products and services.

So, are you ready to call the stork?

Calling the Stork Is NOT for ALL Newbies

Because this course requires participation in a group, only those beginners who are willing and able to:

 Attend the seven group calls and actively participate;

Take the time to complete the home-study assignments; and

 Be open and embrace their unique gift to the world and follow their calling;

Will be accepted into the program.

Also, Seating Is Limited*

To maximize group interaction, as well as one-on-one coaching effectiveness, the class is limited to 10 participants only!

And it won't be the first 10. It won't be the last 10. It won't even be the middle 10. It will be the 10 whose applications illustrate that they are ready for this class, willing to do what it takes to succeed, and able to meet the obligations of participation.

So, if you feel up to the challenge ...

If you're ready to boldly pursue your dream of business ownership ...
